Do you provide post-deployment technical support?

Yes. We ensure complete documentation, testing, and support during deployment and integration.

IoT Gateway

What is an IoT Gateway?

An IoT Gateway connects field devices (energy meters, panel meter, sensors, controllers) to the internet or cloud platforms using protocols such as MQTT, HTTP, or Modbus-TCP.

What features does your IoT Gateway support?

Our IoT Gateway provides Wi-Fi/Ethernet connectivity, edge data processing, secure MQTT communication, and remote firmware update support.

Which protocols are supported by your IoT Gateway?

We support MQTT, Modbus, DLMS, HTTP, and custom TCP/IP communication, making it compatible with both legacy and modern systems.

Does it support both wired and wireless connectivity?

Yes, our IoT Gateway supports Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and 4G communication for maximum flexibility in deployment.

Is it suitable for industrial use?

Absolutely. Our gateways are designed for industrial environments, supporting wide input voltage range and surge protection.

Can I integrate your gateway with my existing cloud platform?

Yes. The gateway is fully customizable — it can connect to any MQTT broker or third-party IoT platform like AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, ThingsBoard, or Firebase.

Optical Cable / DLMS Communication

What is the use of an optical port in an energy meter?

An optical port is an infrared communication interface on DLMS/COSEM-compatible energy meters. It allows data exchange between the meter and a handheld unit/Mobile, laptop, or downloading cable without direct electrical connection.

What type of optical probe does AR IoT Solutions provide?

We offer a USB-based DLMS optical downloading cable compatible with most Indian smart energy meters (Genus, Secure, L&T, HPL, etc.). It supports standard IEC 62056-21 communication protocol.

Can I use this optical cable with any DLMS software?

Yes. Our optical cable works with all major DLMS/COSEM reading applications such as Gurux DLMS, Genus ProRead, and custom meter reading tools.

What are the typical communication parameters?

Default settings: 9600 bps, 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit (8N1) — configurable through the software.
